Uchiha Izuna died by his brother's side, knowing that justice would come to the Senju who killed his several members of his clan. When he closed his eyes for the final time, he smiled as he drifted off into what he believed to be the after world.
So when he opened his eyes and was faced with a silver-haired prodigy, a brown-haired healer, and a blond-haired teacher, he was understandably confused.

However, he isn't exactly the type to bluntly state that they don't exist. As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. The Fourth Hokage's body was never found, but they never suspected that was because he hadn't died. Minato Namikaze wakes up six years after the devastating Kyuubi attack, alone in an overgrown clearing with not a scratch on him. Disoriented and confused, he does exactly what any father would do in this situation. He fights through the pain, gets up, and goes to find his son.
