His search for the wizard he was told could help, brings him to the town of West Minister where he meets Adrena. She was a well-known woman in the community and becomes close to Thalmas. Their relationship makes him even more sure of his decision, but there were dragons back home who did not agree with his decision, as they wanted to keep away from humans and avoid a war.
