"So how'd you land yourself here?" Will asked,looking toward the door that led towards the cells of the prison. "It must've been bad, I heard you've been here for a while." 
I shouldn't be talking to him. I shouldn't even be near him. Bill had warned me away, and yet I just had to see him. I sigh. "Yeah, thirteen years." 
"How old are you?"
"Seventeen."
"How did a four year old end up in this prison?"
"I don't remember."

Morgan has always dreamed of getting out of Wayford; a prison that only criminal men eighteen and over got to. So how did she come so young? 
No one quite knows how the prison works. How anyone gets there. They just do. They all come right through the gates because they felt like they wanted to. Until Will.
Will holds Morgan's attention because he ran away from the gates. He saw through whatever tricks Wayford had set up. He could help her make her escape.
