Just a half-smile and the same calculating eyes he'd always worn. "I'm home," he said, voice light but empty. Mori accepted him without question, as if he'd been expecting it. No punishment, no interrogation. Dazai knelt, bowed his head, and was reinstated like nothing had changed-yet everything had. The younger members watched him warily, unsure whether to fear or follow. Chuuya stormed in hours later, demanding answers, but Dazai only smirked. "Just tying up loose ends," he said cryptically. Back in black, he moved through the halls like a ghost reclaiming his haunt.
