About four years ago I wrote this story. Within the last year I decided to go back and read it again, and let's just say, the writing was a tad too cringe for my liking. However since I loved my storyline and my old version didn't do it justice, I had the wonderful idea of rewriting it, common for writers I guess lol. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the original and the rewrite and let me know what you think! The story clip is from the rewrite.

I don't believe it... he's a vampire!
The blood pulsing through my veins ran cold, chilling every inch of my body with it's frosty bite. I subconsciously reached towards the bullets on my side and silently cursed myself off for purposely leaving them behind. Never again, I swear, will I disbelieve the leaders or leave the camp without those darn golden bullets with me!
I slowly took a step back, knowing full well that if I stay'd it would turn into a death trap. Yet, how dense can I truly be? I'm a trained soldier but... My foot snagged against a wire at my heel, every fiber in my being halted to stop. I never even had the chance to fathom what was happening when the ground beneath me disappeared, a boom rang in the distance, buts thats all.
A feathery, softness enveloped my body, protecting me from the deathly results that could have been. I slowly opened my eyes, everything was blurry at first from the pressure I'd put on them moments before. As they came into focus a pair of baby blue eyes stared right at me. My feet landed safely on the ground, but nothing made sense. How did that bomb not kill me? How did I get so far from it? Who was this person that somehow rescued me?

I felt numb earlier but now as I saw my wound I started feeling the suppressed pain I was controlling. My tears betrayed me not just because of his words but also from the pain of my burn. Andrea rushed towards me with a worried look on her face "Maria..bring ..the coolant hurry..we need to call the doctor.." She was something else So pure and caring My eyes lifted to see Ando He had a expression I couldn't decipher His eyes were fixed on my burn but I couldn't tell if he was worried or not. But soon that expression was gone as he turned around and left. I looked at his retreating back wondering since when did he become so heartless. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? "You don't like it rough?" he asks me. Oh, okay, I smirk back at him, two can play this game. "I like it... but only during sex, " I say to him watching as his smirk drops and eyes widen just for a split second. "What? Didn't expect that?" I ask putting on extra sweetness to my tone. I move closer to him, going on my tiptoes so my lips are just barely grazing his ear. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" I DO NOT OWN NARUTO, I ONLY OWN ALEDA I was floating, there was nothing, it was calming, but then I saw a light, I was drawn to the light, seeking warmth from the abyss of darkness that enclosed me. When I was about to touch the light I heard a voice, looking toward the sound I saw someone. I saw nine tall figures surrounding me with a man in front of me. "Do you wish to go home?" the man said to me. I replied to him "yes", who wouldn't? Then everything turned to a light blue," Is this the sky?" i thought out loud. I saw that I had my wings, my black hair flowing around me, my white dress flowing in the wind. It then registered in my mind that i was falling, and falling fast. I turned my body and saw the ground nearing me, I braced myself for the blow. When I landed i felt the ground shake, creating a crater. i looked to my left seeing a few people nearing my busted body, i looked back to the sky black spots clouding my vision. i heard the people nearing me screaming. When they neared me they all stopped and gasped at the sight of me. My pure white wings coating in red, my blood. My white dress flowing across my wings also sprayed with my blood, like paint splatters on a pure white canvas. Blood started to get into my light purple eyes. One of the people came near my battered body, snapping out of his distant look, picking me up and started to run me to the hospital, when we ran through the gates people gasped at the sight of my body, my wings dragging the ground. When we got to the hospital he started to order people to get the head nurse to care for my body. When i felt them stabilize my body I fell into a light slumber.Cerita Lengkap
