The tree of life, has been a sacred item for as long as remnants history. Ever since recorded time this tree has been protected from the Grimm  by the hunstman. For the tree of life is what made dust, an essential part of remnants survival. So when two teams of huntsman and huntresses in training are sent to protect it, and all but one are either injured or unconscious from the attacking Grimm. The final defender takes an apple, and eats it. Gaining unimaginable power for a price. This defenders name was Jaune arc, but now he goes by NightmareAll Rights Reserved

This is the legend of The Grimm Hunter, a creature of terrible power that was believed to have terrorized Humanity before the four Kingdoms were established and shortly after Humanity discovered Dust. It's been depicted to be an amalgamation of different Grimm with the ability to absorb the life-force of any creature with a soul. Not only did doing so regenerate any dealt wounds, but also allowed it to convert it into dark and destructive energy. Even though The Grimm Hunter was a creature of darkness itself, it also slaughtered Grimm with the same level of ferocity it showed Humanity. However, just as it seemed The Grimm Hunter would eradicate all of Humanity, it vanished without a trace. Not many know what happened to it but the legend speculates that a squadron of Silver-Eyed Warriors defeated it. But, that's not the truth, now is it?
