Marie has only wanted to escape into college; where she can start her own life, free and happy. 

Although, she doesn't realize how haunting ones past can be, and how fast the mistakes you make in your past can come back to bite you. When an explosion pushes her world into a supernatural fairy tale, Marie must figure out how to deal with this new truth. Marie has already survived the verbal abuse her mother threw on her as a child, and she has healed from the bruises her father had given her as a teen. She has been toughened by her own personal hell. Now, all she has to do is face creatures that come from down under, and concentrate on not letting the truth change her sence of humanity.
