Grain and Xisuma are friends. They have always tried to talk to the undead, and search for other monsters. But there have never been any answers. Until one day, spirits start talking. A LOT. But they all seemed agitated, on edge, or scared. They were trying to warn the two about something. Slowly, a mystery unravels and an adventure begins. They meet new friends, or should I say, old friends. And have to put a stop to this chaos before it is too late. Will they succeed? If they do will they have to end their adventures forever? Will I ever clean my room? Only the story can tell. (Except for that last one. The answer is no.)
Authors note: I do not personally ship hermits, but this is for my friend and she does. THESE ARE THE PERSONA CHARACTERS NOT THE REAL PEOPLE BEING SHIPPED!
There will also be other characters from Evo and Yandere high. So with all that, I hope you enjoy this story.

Grian's life was shattered into a million pieces a long time ago. So long ago, he didn't know whether it was ever even whole. When he joined Hermitcraft after running away from the Watchers, it was starting to come together, until season eight began and his life was thrown into chaos. The Watchers were there, and he didn't even know if they were good or bad anymore. He didn't know who to be scared of. And he was forced to question everything in silence, finding refuge only in his magic. And unfortunately for him, things don't always go the way he might have expected - not that he really had any expectations, anyway. There is some mild swearing. Grian is having a great time in season 7 so far, until the rest of the hermits start to get more annoyed at him. Grian starts to have a more dark and depressing personality. He one day stumbles across a base in the nether that he had never seen before and decided to investigate it. Grian finds both Hels and Ex inside of the base and runs away. After a week, Grian runs into them again but this time something inside of him wants to trust them and befriend the two. Grian starts to avoid all the hermits after they start to be mean to him. Grian soon starts to have a monotone color palette like the demise game in season 6. Ex and Hels soon find him in his base like this and find out that the hermits were the cause of him being like this. Something happens to make Grian go over the edge and latch out at one of the Hermits. Taken || Book 2 of 2 in the Sam's Back series
Sam was gone, for good, Mumbo had killed him and he hadn't respawned. He was dead. Grian trusted in the kindness of the world and he opened up, but that was his biggest mistake. Because what if Sam wasn't dead? What if they had been tricked by a simple hack? What if Scar and Mumbo went missing? What if they were taken? Grian would have to find out the consequences of those 'what if's the hard way. A sequel to "Sam's Back", I suggest reading that first if you haven't already since otherwise this won't make sense. A YHS/Hermitcraft fanfic. Angsty. There's some mild Grumbo shipping but it could just be seen as platonic. Also Scar/Cub shipping, but only really at the very end and you can ignore it if you want.
