An old man spots a boy hiding in his garden and offers him sanctuary. What follows is a recollection of a tale so eye-opening--a scar so deep--it changed the old man's life forever. . .

"The Heighth of Dated" is an ode to the prose of the late writers of yore, who--with their garrulous meandering--could ramble readers either to sleep, or into believing their crap was a product of intellect.
