"never again"
That is what she had told herself. She would never again be blinded but what she thought was love, no matter how much she wanted to. After the boy next door had shattered her heart, she repeated this phrase to herself often, for almost three years that is. Callie was 16, and for half of her life, she only had a few real friends. One of these being the boy next door. Calum Hood had come into her life when she really needed him. At just 8 years old, Callie felt like the loneliest person in the world. She felt like she didn't belong, and like no one wanted her. With her parents' divorce in full swing, her mother moved her halfway across the world, from Tallahassee, Florida, to Sydney, Australia. Her mother thought that if they were going to start over, they might as well really start over. She would be leaving her friends, her home, and the rest of her family. She felt like she would need a miracle to survive the next (at least) 10 years with her mother, with whom she didn't have the best relationship. Then one day she met an angel, at least that's what he was to her. Calum Thomas Hood had changed her life, and for better or for worse, he was a part of her, and she could never completely erase him from her heart.
