Due to a power failure, some infected escaped a high-security facility and started an outbreak. This virus quickly spread across the world, not infecting many, but enough to become a concern. Those who were infected were contained in other high-security facilities around the world.
These infected soon turned into what can only be described as "zombies". They were under observation for months, as the government desperately tried to find a cure.
Unfortunately, some of these walkers got out of a few facilities and started another outbreak, creating more and more zombies everywhere.

Charlotte and Ryan are cousins, and have been closer than close for as long as they can remember. Since Charlotte's mother walked out on her family at a young age, her father had to work two or more jobs to provide for them.
Do they have what it takes to survive while protecting those close to them? Or will the zombies get the best of them?
