The Overworld was destroyed 700 years ago and humanity has long since abandoned the surface world, fleeing into the caverns littered below, their only goal to survive the radiation slowly leaching through the soil.

Subterráneo, also known as the Underground, was built as a haven from this invisible threat, the city providing all its inhabitants' needs. They recovered, building towers that penetrated the surface, and their technology advancing far beyond what it had been before.

Then came the Last War.

Mankind was decimated, the remnants ruled over by the cruel, merciless dictator known only as Raul. Under his tyranny, the law is enforced with ruthless violence and freedom of speech is a notion of the past.

But a revolution is rising, the divided rebel cells banding together, bound by an ancient wall of carvings.

Carvings promising a saviour.
