* WareFareTale is an Undertale AU fannovel that is currently in development. Some changes to the characters and storylines are expected.

The tales of the Great War between the two races has now been long forgotten, twisted into tales of the power hungry monsters seeking bloodshed and are now trapped somewhere where none would escape. A few years pass and the humans of the surface are now thriving and living their best, now knowing the horrors they put these monsters into.

Frisk is now travelling with a few of her friends, exploring a dark wide cave on the foot of MT. Ebott, when Frisk stumbles upon a stalagmite and falls into an endless void.

Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? Only one way to tell... ~o0o~ Disclaimers before you start! •There is NO fanon ships. That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. The only problem is, Asriel remembers everything that happened when he was Flowey. And he isn't too happy about it... In this new timeline, Kelsa, the SOUL of Bravery, falls into the Underground shortly after Frisk. Determined to save her only friend, Kel teams up with a mysterious flower with a face to find them and rescue them from Asriel's notorious freezing chambers. Betrayed by many, and uncertain who to trust, Kel finds herself in the midst of an iron-fist dictatorship, fighting to restore the Underground to the peaceful place it used to be.
