Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, and James Potter are all eleven years old. They're all excited to go to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. But they have some problems.
Remus is a werewolf and werewolves aren't exactly the most loved magical beasts of all time. All year he has to work to keep his secret.
Peter has a wonderful life and wonderful family, but he's not the most gifted wizard. And he has noticed that Remus disappears every month.
Sirius' family is very ancient. They've all been in Slytherin-But Sirius doesn't want to be in Slytherin. Who knows what the consequences will be if he gets what he wants?
James' family is rich. James has a wonderful life. But he wants some things to change. Like the prejudice against muggle-borns. Perhaps all he needs is a chance.

Marauders AU Romance
This story is based on JK Rowling's characters from the series Harry Potter. I have done my best to be accurate with both timelines and character portrayals, but of course there will be some changes since this is an alternate universe with some original characters inserted, plus, there is only so much written about the marauder's era. The story takes place in the year 1976, the boys are all in their sixth year, and tensions are high at Hogwarts. Many of the students are already feeling the influence of the Voldemort, and it is causing suspicion and division to run rampant within the walls of the school. Sirius finds himself intrigued by a Slytherin girl he'd never taken the time to notice before, and a student transfer from Ilvermorny has caught the eye of Remus. Of course James is still battling for Lilly's attention, hoping to prove how much he's matured over the summer months. Undeniable attraction pulls these students together, but house division, many secrets, and a Dark Lord's growing influence threatens to tear them apart. Will they find a way to conquer their differences and pull together to face the coming war, or will the bonds of friendship fail the Marauders once and for all? Please comment!
