Briar Rose was quite a regular girl. She lived in the forest with her three aunts and couldn't ask for a better life. The woods were her playground and the animals were her friends. Life was good.

Until her 16th birthday, that is. She had dreamed of being a princess, but it was a child's fantasy. And the castle is much colder than her cottage.
