Janus 'Deceit' Sanders and Remus 'Duke' Sanders have been bestfriends since the split, though Janus acted as the responsible, adult one despite being the same age. Remus had always been vocal about his feelings until Virgil left, calling him too emotional. Janus had always been the one to lock his feelings and emotions away never really showing them. He did this ever since he was a child, wanting to show little weakness and to be strong for the others. These both came with major consequences, Remus often found it difficult to voice his feelings out without getting mad at himself or someone else for how he was feeling. Janus had to find other ways to cope with his feelings, mostly unhealthy. But what happens when these two dorks fall for each other? I'll tell you, mutual pinning and miscommunication, with tons of angst with some hurt/comfort fluff. TRIGGER WARNINGS: Self Harm Suicidal Thoughts Self Deprecation Talking of food and weight Unknowing Anorexia Unsympathetic Virgil for awhile but he gets better Unsympathetic Roman for awhile but he also gets better. etc.. Street Rats (SanderSides AU)
The world is messed up. We all know that. Roman, Patton, and Logan all live on the streets, no parents, no money, no jobs, they're just a couple of street kids that have no future, but they at least have each other, the closest thing to family they will ever achieve. Janus, Remus, and Virgil also live on the streets together. Same position and same future. All they have in the small misfit family they created together. One day these two groups of boys meet and find maybe they might have a future after all.
