Gabriella Sulus is one of many repurposed souls, returned to earth after death because of  dying heroically in the eyes of the heavens. She is a messenger of the gods now, who are nicknamed Hermes', doing Heavens bidding in order to keep the planned timeline of humanity on track. Her and the other Hermes' must complete the tasks given to them on holy scrolls from the Heavens or else they will be sentenced to an eternity in hell. Gabriella has never failed to complete a task until she is given a scroll instructing her to kill an innocent boy. She is unable to kill him and devotes herself to protecting him from the wrath of the heavens and the other Hermes' who see her heroisme as betrayal against the timeline of humanity. Gabriella and Logan have gone rogue against the higher beings, surviving only by the protection of her blessings that were given to her when she became a messenger of the gods. Will the two be able to succeed in altering the timeline? Saving Logan from his unfathomable fate?
