Emily is a freshman at the University of Nebraska enjoying her first semester there. But soon the winter semester starts creeping up and before she knows it, she's in all new classes meeting all new people while she studies to be a veterinarian. Sam is in the same boat. Freshman at U of N enjoying being close to home but at the same time wondering why he chose AN HOUR away from home to call his home away from home for five years while he studies to be something along the lines of an English or law major. What happens when their paths cross and they find themselves being lab partners in a class that neither of them really wanna take?
