We all have those weird dreams where we fight dragons, dream of a 'happily ever after'...or in my cousin Alice's case; make friends with a unicorn that literally poops edible rainbow candy. Alice and I, along with our friend Zero, help my aunt and uncle clear out their basement during spring break while they went away for their wedding anniversary. It all started when I ever so gracefully (but accidentally) tripped over a cupboard box (which in my defence, I never knew was there) with the words: 'Fragile - DO NOT TOUCH', written in black marker all over the box. While Alice and I were arguing, Zero tried to grab our attention. When he finally did, we were surprised to see him being sucked into a freakin' green swirling portal! Turns out, inside the box I tripped over had a crystal ball rolled out of it, and glowed a bright green. That was when we realised that that crystal ball, was the reason why a portal appeared and was trying to pull us in. And of course...I got separated from them, didn't I? Would you believe me if I told you we entered the world of our favourite movie when we were kids? You know...the Dreamworks movie, Shrek? The one with the fairy tale and Disney characters in? Yep, that's the one! Oh, sorry! I almost forgot to introduce myself: My name's Willow, and this is the story of our journey in the world of Shrek - creating bonds with Shrek himself, Fiona, Donkey and the gang...heck, even Dragon, too! But even after an entire pain-filled journey, and the fact that he felt proud and thankfull to have reunited with the reminants of his family, and even the fact of having saved all that surrounded him from certain extinction, he still couldn't get over the loss of his old man. Meanwhile, Sofia and and her pet rabbit, Clover, are taking a trip through the peaceful countryside when they are suddenly chased through an extremely dark forest by a tall, unknown, hooded assailant. What will happen when she informs her family about the incident? How will the family react when the King and Ethan turn on each other for the second time? And truly who is the mysterious figure dwelling in the dark? All shall be told from within. NOTE - The part when Sofia and Clover are chased through the dark forest was actually inspired by another S.T.F fanfic I read a while back, this by no means is intended to copy or steal any part of the original creator's work;) Sofia the First - belongs to Disney Ethan and Johnathon are both OC's of mine, they belong to me. (1st Disclaimer: Each of these franchises belong to Disney, DreamWorks, & so on, while my ocs belong to me! 2nd Disclaimer: I am African American and my ocs are Inuit, so if I incorrectly wrote something wrong in one of the characters and their backstories, please correct and critique me, I always make sure to do my research and be sensitive when I'm working on different characters of different backgrounds and I encourage critique to help me write better in the future, but for the most part, I believe that if different ethnicities want their story to be told, they should work up the passion and confidence to do it themselves for authenticity because I'm sure, no I know that their stories will be amazing and twice more impactful)

~Sequel to Shrek 2: Happily 'N'Ever After [Book 2]~ Uncle Connor: Now remember: No nagging, bragging, sweating, fretting, slipping, tripping, slurping, burping, twittering, or frittering allowed. Me: What if I fall gracefully? Zero: That's literally the same thing as slipping and tripping, minus the graceful part. Me: Really? Aunt Ella: Yes. Me: So...I can get away with falling gracefully, then? Alice: No...not unless you're doing it on purpose to catch someone's attention~ As you can tell, that's how my lessons on learning to be a proper Princess usually start. Strict lessons on manners, learning the history of the past royals, which cutlery you have to use with certain meals, etc. etc. Blah, blah, blah. And the worst lesson of them all: Ballroom dancing! On top of that, I'm constantly reminded that I need to find my 'true love' and receive true love's kiss by sunset on my 17th birthday, otherwise I turn into a frozen statue just like my parents, grandmother, and kingdom, and stay like that forever. When Shrek asked me to go with him to visit Worcestershire Academy and find Arthur Pendragon, the one uncle Harold mentioned before he took his final breath, you could imagine the relief I felt to finally have the opportunity to escape my lessons without someone dragging me back every time I tried to ditch them. Question is: Will I be able to break the spell before the deadline? What if Arthur is 'the one'? Will I finally get the happy ending everybody keeps teasing me about?
