When the Monsters fought the Humans in a great war, many families faced a hard decision. Fight with their Monster king or flee and likely be a part of the slaughter. Each option seemed to be certain death. With rumors of imprisonment in Mt. Ebott, the Neko family sends their youngest couples to their homeland of japan, Hope riding that they will find a way to save their monster kin.
Follow the story of Mau, a descendant of the Neko family living in japan who will create a chain of events that just may lead to the freedom and acknowledgement of all monster kind. Will the half-breed find her place between two peoples? or will she always feel like an outcast or two worlds?

Remembrance - An Undertale Story-DISCONTNUED
Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth. Humans and monsters. At least, that's the story we all know. There was another race. Technically, they were monsters. Skeleton monsters to be exact. Humans shunned them because they were monsters. Monsters shunned them because humans had skeletons. In retaliation, the skeletons split into two different races. The Surface Skeletons and the Abyss Skeletons. The Surface Skeletons reaches out to both monsters and humans. However, when the war started, they were some of the first monsters attacked and many were killed when they fought with the other monsters. Only a handful were sealed underground but without the Sun to strengthen their bones, the skeletons suffered until they received anonymous help. Very few survived to this point and slowly, they died out. The Royal Scientist at the time and his wife tried to have children. Each time left them severely weakened. Each child dusted until the wife gave up her life to bring a great skeleton into the world. That child is the last of his kind. The Abyss Skeletons shunned all other monsters and humans, considered them all demons. Their society was alike human society long ago. Divided. They believe they are strong and emotions only weaken. The class system was rigid and they possessed a kill or be killed attitude to all other monsters and humans. They thrived underground and ended up building their society in the Underground's own Abyss. It is a shame that only their leader can reclaim their heir from the corruption caused by those demons.
