The Backdoor (toph x male reader.)

100 years ago you were caught with a very special and rare gift, the ability to duel bend. because of this you were taken to the southern air temple to practice in the ways of air bending, the nomads would also occasionally take you to a fire nation cave where one of the last remaining dragons would rest, this dragon would teach you many things growing up. How to fight, how to hunt, how to properly use Firebending and most importantly how to master the ways of your duel bending. Another bonus to this trip was your best friend Aang who you would constantly mess around with, due to your close friendship aang told you that he was going to run away from the air temple for unknown reasons so you figured that taking a ride with him on appa to calm him down would work out. Unfortunately this ended in a terrible storm causing aang to incase you both in two giant ice orbs. 100 years have passed and you have been dug up by aang and many other water tribe members, two of them are named Sokka and Katara who you later learned would be joining you on your journey. On top of all of this you later figure out that aang is the new avatar and he's already mastered water bending! As if your situation wasn't already bad enough...follow y/n as he try's to find his true self, the purpose of his duel bending abilities and as he dose everything in his power to protect the avatar from the perilous journey ahead. And possibly...find love along the way. (Note that this book starts at the beginning of season 2.)
