Asurah used to believe love would one day be his downfall. After all, his parents fell into that very thing when his mother was captured by the enemy. And because of that, both his parents died, leaving him to rule an entire planet at the age of 17.

Now, over three centuries later, he finds his heart thawed by none other than an obnoxious human man, whose bad jokes and awful puns nearly bring tears to Asurah's eyes. But he managed to thaw the ice king's heart, and now they're making their love official, by finally marrying one another.

Their marriage is made public, and an old rejection of Asurah's is angered, and wages war on the planet Glacion.
