Our "American" Dream

I don't know how I got wrapped up in this, all I was trying to do was get home from the library. I'm a Haitian woman! I should know better than to stick my nose where it does not belong! "fè respè ou!"is what my mother always used to tell me, I should've listened.

Genesis Marcelin Augustin is a 23 year old Haitian-American who's found herself investigating the life of one Tyler Aetos, a white boy who she accidentally knocked into a coma when he charged at her in an empty construction building.

Tyler Aetos has gotten himself mixed up in some bad business after throwing out some drugs he found on his person, being moved from LA, California to Miami, Florida has made him connect with old friends, meet new ones, and make discoveries about the world outside of his own experiences.
