In this story, Will, Clive and Charlie get caught in a rain storm and so they decide to take shelter in the village church. Things take a turn for the worse when they accidentally get locked in for the night. How will the boys escape?
Will is eight years old and lives with his mum, dad and his dog, Clive. He spends much of his time with his best friend Charlie who lives in the house on the opposite side of the street. he author, Paul Cook, wrote these stories for his eight year old son Matthew to read as part of his homeschooling activities during the COVID-19 lockdown. Matthew enjoyed reading the stories (or he was just being polite) and so Paul decided to share them online. These light hearted short stories are suitable for children aged 8-11 years old. This book contains scenes of mild threat in the dark and a reference to ghosts which might upset some readers.
