I breathed in and out slowly and calmly, I... Guess the hate she had was too strong. I had no choice but to fight her.
I couldn't believe that she turned into this. The sweet white haired girl that I saw when I was five, was now an evil monster. She was the first friend I ever made, and now... I had to fight her to the death. Why did it have to be like this?
We both readied our fists and fury ran through our eyes as we were about to attack each with lethal blows.
"You know what am probably gonna say now. If you don't, then you're surely gonna lose in only ten seconds. " She said, in a fighting stance and an evil smirk on her face.
"I know. " I sighed, closed my eyes and readied myself into a fighting stance. "I got a lot of time to think about it, since the last time at the carnival. And I think I have an idea of what it means. " I said.
She smirked. "Good. "
"Those who can't, " I said.
"can. And those who can, " she paused.
"Can't. " I finished for her.
"Those who can't, can and those who can, can't. " we both yelled in unison as we headed for each other.
This was one of the hardest things that I had to do along my adventures. My powers were stronger than my ancestors' and way stronger than what the dragon inside of me would have expected.
This is my life on earth in dimension 46.

This Can't Be Real (A Superhero Story)
Book 1 of 3 in the Barron Series This book was re-edited roughly 4 times, each time in an effort to make the book less 'cringe'. The story is based on a game we used to play in my elementary school we named 'The Power of Cheese' between me and over 12 kids that we played every day at recess for (at least) 3 consecutive years. It was a roleplaying game where everyone had superpowers and controllable dimensions. In this new story, the characters are renamed (confidentiality) but the powers are the exact same. The plot was changed, but I kept it as close to the original without it sounding like it came from the minds of a gaggle of 10-year-olds. Characters were cut, the dialogue was refurbished, the jokes are more modern but still not as funny, and will probably be rewritten again.
