A futuristic "alien" in the year 2309 from space travels to "the giant blue planet" but ends up endangering the lives of his alien race and also discovers that earth is not actually what he thought it was.

The story is also told at some point in the eyes of a 13 year old boy named Tyler in the year 2309 who constantly writes in his journal about an alien he discovered and believes he can be able to prove the existence of aliens against all odds.

Tyler also writes about how life is in the year 2309.
