"You remember me, don't you, Liam?" It's a rhetorical question. Dark green eyes stare into light brown filled with misery and fear.  He keeps on talking. "I must say it was shocking to know you had forgotten about me. Almost hurt my feelings, Liam. I had expected you to run or maybe call the cops, but you stood there all happy while welcoming me into the neighborhood."  He chuckles as he grabs his switchblade knife and jabs it into Liam's thigh. "I'm betting you wish you hadn't even woken up that morning." He pats Liam's cheek and walks up to his basement steps whistling a happy tune.
