Based on the video game, L4D and L4D2, Benevolence’s boyfriend became a Special Infected, a Hunter. Strangely, he ignores his Infected-instincts to rip Benevolence apart, and follows her, even defends her from other Infected. Benevolence thought that no Infected were a fright to her with her boyfriend, ironically named Hunter, being a Special Infected Hunter. That was, until, she met the Survivors, and learned the true meaning of what it is a special Infected. Will she choose to life with a time-bomb ticking, while Hunter slowly begins loosing his humanity, or put him down gently and move with the Survivors?

Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. His group has never liked him, but what's pushing him away is that his leader and only remaining friend, Willow, has been turning against Tigry, treating him like a piece of rubbish. Worst of all, someone else has been watching him, and they're determined to make Tigry's life even more difficult. Willow, on the other hand, is going overboard. She's been pacing with schemes ever since her worst enemies had came back into her life. And she'll do anything for revenge. Anything to reconnect her one bond with her brother, held on by a single thread of hope. Even if she has to break many other bonds along the way.
