This is a mermaid story. Don't judge. Pale is a normal 14 year old girl until one day she finds herself craving for water. Not to drink it, but to swim in it. Pale has never loved swimming or the beach, I mean yeah she would do it, but this change in attitude scares her. It not until a matter of time until she goes into the ocean and finds herself a mermaid. 14 year old Pearl has been a mermaid for her whole life. She has always lived with her mom and older sister. But one day, during a big storm, Pearl gets separated from her mother and older sister, and Pearl finds herself closer to the human world. It's not until a matter of time until these two mermaids meet and become friends. But when Pale gives Pearl a taste of a surfing competition at the human world, Pale discovers the truth that she is missing and people are preparing a reward for the people who find her. PG RATING!!!

She knew that there had to be some good ones out there, due to their high intelligence, which she observed. One day, curiosity got the best of her and she was banned from her pod and was stranded in a hole on a beach. A bad boy named Josh discovers her and decides to help her out, he even lets her stay in his house. Over time, the two grow closer to each other and learn things about one another they've never admitted to anyone. One is a mermaid that loves everyone around her, the other is a human bad boy who could care less. Can Lydia show Josh the greater things in life?

He is released from the hospital, and life seems like it should return to normal...but he's still haunted by his "hallucinations" He still knows what he saw was real. He saw a shadow at the water's edge.

I have always loved the water. My family has always been near water. My uncle was a an oceanographer which had me interested in what he does. It was always seeming so mysterious, what lies beneath, what is under. Being a lover of the sea, my family has owned a villa near the beach and I found my self visiting quiet often. Until my uncle had given me a birthday party on a boat owned by my family. That is until that night my life had changed when I accidentally slip into the waters slowly sinking down under. From that day of, I had saw things differently which had me even more curious on to what lies beneath our feet. Until her that is, that life, my life as we know it had changed.
