Exerpt: "I pulled my chain with every breath I took. Every inhale of my poking ribs was another. Blood dripped from my neck wound to the floor in globs. I was tired. As I pulled another time, the sirens of the facility blared in my ears. They were already laid back in pain and lack of hope.
