Sophia was just a normal girl. She was a fresh graduate from Columbia University, and was ready to take on her next steps of life, like getting a job and being on her own, after living in her family home for a few more months. Then, her world changed forever when it was set aflame by an accidental fire. As the family figures out the next steps they need to take, Sophia's mother decides that its best for them to settle at her aunt's house, whom she despises (and the feeling is mutual). Sophia's mother understands and comes up with an alternative, that could also benefit her in the long run. She has the option of living with the Williams family, who are long-time friends of her family! She jumps at the opportunity of being anywhere her aunt isn't, and heads to Michigan the next day. Little does she know what's coming her way....
