200 years ago humankind boarded a spaceship and left behind a dying planet. Now they plan on returning on the anniversary but things aren't the same as they were. In the spaceship, all that anyone knows of Earth is what they read in old textbooks. The new generations of humans who have never seen their original home planet finally set foot on the ground. They thought they were the only people on Earth but they're not alone. Eden was only a teenager when the asteroids hit. She's been awake and surviving on her own for five years and frozen in time for much longer than that. When she sees a familiar face in the new crowd of people, she must search for answers about what happened to her and the new community she must now learn. Peter has only ever known space. His prayers for something new are answered when he is finally able to step onto Earth and breath fresh air but things aren't as he expected as Peter has to question who and what are the real dangers. Amidst these new people and new inventions, Eden and Peter have to not only figure out how to get along with the each other but also save the people from a new contagious illness.

Asurah used to believe love would one day be his downfall. After all, his parents fell into that very thing when his mother was captured by the enemy. And because of that, both his parents died, leaving him to rule an entire planet at the age of 17. Now, over three centuries later, he finds his heart thawed by none other than an obnoxious human man, whose bad jokes and awful puns nearly bring tears to Asurah's eyes. But he managed to thaw the ice king's heart, and now they're making their love official, by finally marrying one another. Their marriage is made public, and an old rejection of Asurah's is angered, and wages war on the planet Glacion. What happens when Joseph and Asurah are forced apart, not knowing if they will ever see each other again? What if this new enemy disposes of everyone Asurah has come to care for? Is he going to end up just like his parents? Or will love free him from his shackles?
