Ragged breaths escaped your body, sharp eyes glaring up at the burning barn before you, your heart sped up and you screamed up at the sky, slamming your fists into the ground in anger.
Your Mother came up behind you, scraped and bloody hands cradling your shoulders and brushing your hair away, her cracked sweet nothings whispered into your ear did nothing to quell the fire raging inside you.
"Oh my love, never put out your fire." Her voice muttered to you, a bloody hand grabbing your cheek to force you to stare into her too dark black eyes, "your anger is a gift."
