Ephemeral

Her eyes lock with his through the glass wall separating them. Tears fill her eyes as he mouths the words," I love you".
His side of the room fills up with smoke as she screams for him. She breaks through the ropes binding her and runs towards the glass. As the smoke clears she sees him lying on the floor almost as if he was just sleeping. She screams his name but he was already lost to the oblivion...
