Park Life: A Jurassic Park That Worked is a fanfiction based on the franchise that is Jurassic Park. It is based on John Hammonds ideas becoming true and the park becoming a success and open to the public. With the dinosaurs living happily alongside man for the first time in 65 million years, it seems like an idyllic dream. But this dream soon becomes a night mare during a powerdown in a freak electrical storm, leaving the staff and keepers fighting for their lives. Will the staff save themselves and the park in time?

Dinosaurs roamed the Earth over 65 million years ago, but in 1993, a man by the name of John Hammond with the help of geneticist introduced them to a new world. He brought in several people to the island of Isla Nublar in order to endorse the idea of a dinosaur theme park. A park where people could interact with living and breathing dinosaurs. Among those people were Dr. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler. The park trial failed resulting in death and the shut down of Jurassic Park. In 2015, Simon Masrani and his company Masrani Global had shown their interpretation of John Hammond's dream with Jurassic World amusement park operating in full swing. However, the park went into full chaos when a hybrid called the Indominus Rex escaped and wreaked havoc all over until it was stopped by heroes Keira Grant and Owen Grady with the help of friends and trusty (somewhat) velociraptors. Jurassic World was in shambles and was turned into a sanctuary, redesigned to protect the dinosaurs. After hitting a few speed bumps, Isla Nublar became a safe haven. Theodore Alan Grady was born under the two legends who run the sanctuary. Growing up from birth in the presence of dinosaurs, seeing an Apatosaurus sun bathing is nothing to look twice at for the teenager. Living on an island where every animal there is considered a miracle, Theo is trying to find his own calling. Eleanor Grant is fed up of being a cop but she has to keep doing it to support her sister. She watched her closest friend get shot and decided it's quitting time. However, her boss thinks that she should go work at Jurassic World and enrols her there, knowing Claire. Eleanor's Uncle is Allen Grant, he has had Eleanor interested in Dinosaurs since she could speak. Her first word was Raptor. She lost contact with him ten years ago. In the same month a place called Jurassic World opened. When she first turns up she tries her hardest to hate him but she can't. He's perfect. She hates to think that she has fallen in love with him, she wants to be independent and thinks love is stupid. Owen, however, he's loved her ever since he set eyes on her. But when they are thrown into a difficult situation her feelings become overpowering. Owen wears what he wears in the movie and same with Allen. I was one of the scientists that worked on the Jurassic World resort, where I helped the others make the dinosaurs. I was also known manly for helping Owen Grady with his raptors, Blue, Echo, Delta, and Charlie. Even though I was supposed to be helping Dr. Wu, I always seemed to have an connection with the raptors, but it seems like the raptors do to, cause everytime I visit, one seems to act differently. But when a new attraction is made, me along with Owen are chosen to meet it. But when we do, everything goes down hill. As the Idominus Rex wreaks havoc on the island, it's up to me, Owen, Clarie, Grey, Zach, and the raptors to bring peace back to the resort. But what happens when a certain raptor is stuck with me through it all when we are separated from the others and when the Indominus Rex takes a liking towards me.
