Being the black sheep in an upper-class community is hard, especially when your family prides themselves in their wealth and popularity. For Maria Harding, she, unfortunately, is that black sheep. Unlike those around her, Maria yearns for a simpler life. One where she can explore the world. What she didn't expect was for her dream to come true in the form of kidnapping.

After being snatched by two mysterious figures, Maria is taken to a whole new world and is on the verge of being sold into slavery when the charming Prince Felix saves her. As their bond grows, Maria learns of Felix's cure that has been placed on him by the powerful spell caster, Isabel, who has become paranoid by the notion that Maria will be her doom and will stop at nothing until she is in her clutches. Maria also learns of a golden crystal globe which Felix uses to visit all types of extraordinary places.
