This is a mashup of my hero academia and the series Avatar the last air bender and legend of Korra, I recommend watching them or reading them before reading this because this will have heavily spoilers.

There are two worlds here the human world and the bending world, in the human world hero's protect them but in the bending world, the Avatar protect them. There is a portal in japan that makes you travel between these to worlds. First, the humans didn't like them at all but since humans began to develop quirks they had a better understanding and is now at peace, benders are heroes, and benders are amazed by quirk different from bending. 

Soshi Mizumage is a bender from the bender world, she learned that she was an avatar at the age of 4, she trained to become a good bender and an Avatar, she couldn't find a master to teach her, her mother was a water bender and her father was an earth bender she had an older sister who was an air bender and an older brother who was a fire bender, how weird... Yet there were people who didn't like the Avatar, so they did what they did...
