After Rebekah, Kol, Elijah, and Klaus took the Hollow's magic out of Hope and scattered to the ends of the earth Freya and Hayley decide that it would be best for Hope to get out of New Orleans and away from everything that happened there. One option was the Salvatore School in Mystic Falls, but after deciding that Hope needs a slice of normal in her life Hayley decides to move them to La Push, Washington, home of the Quileute Tribe where Hayley once stayed when she was looking for her birth parents. One by one her friends stop talking to her, pushing her away until finally she even loses her best friend Jacob. Heartbroken and falling apart without the support of those she loves in her time of need she tries to discover who on the reservation could be the shifters her mother and aunts always talk about. Will she find them? Will she get her friends back? Or will she fall apart, losing herself to the darkness inside that threatens to consume her after losing so many people she loves?
