The Aftermath at Mount Massive
-Cross-post from my Ao3- The Aftermath at Mount Massive is part one of a three part series called Survivors. This part is done. It is a fanfic for the game Outlast, set after the first game/DLC. However, you don't have to know much about the game to jump in. This story follows an independent journalist named Miles Upshur who received an email from a whistleblower, Waylon Park, who worked at Murkoff Psychiatric Systems: Mount Massive. The hospital was supposed to be run as a charity, offering help to those who could not pay, or for those who other hospitals wouldn't accept. However, things weren't as they seemed and Murkoff was using the hospital as a cover for a laboratory where they were performing experiments on humans. The end result of such experiments was the creation of Project Walrider, a bio-nanite parasite that lives inside a human body. Miles stumbles into the facility during a security breach and riot. He manages to survive the night but in doing so becomes infected with the nanites, becoming the new host for Project Walrider. The Aftermath of Mount Massive is about Miles coming to terms with what being the Host means for both his humanity and future. Content Warning: This fic contains blood, gore, cannibalism, a suicide attempt, mild body horror, and language. If you are sensitive to any of those things I suggest not reading. The Coder
After Waylon was caught and put through the Morphogenic Engine the doctors had put him through multiple different test that crippled his sanity. They had completely erased all memory of his family and past life of 5 years, leaving only small bits of memories. Throughout these test, they had tried to infuse electricity into his very being. This had resulted in Waylon being able to store and use this electricity whenever. Being completely insane and have this kind of power led to him being called the Coder by the patients after the Walrider outbreak. He roams the halls searching for the perfect "Human Hard Drive" to store the memories that he hasn't lost. But what happens when this "Human Hard Drive" turns out to be Eddie Gluskin, The very man that Waylon had tried to help save from the engine in the begin.Complete

Waylon Park, and his colleague Travis Stewart, both work together to gather enough evidence to expose Murkoff Corporations. But as soon as the email goes through, things go sideways and they're thrown into Mount Massive Asylum, giving them a new objective. Escape the Asylum. I also want to point out that the SA themes within this are non-romanticized.
No Hope {Outlast}
You weren't one for bright ideas, so when someone came up with the idea to follow Miles Upshur to Mount Massive Asylum, you were all for it, that was, until you climbed through the window, but there was no going back now. (Oh geez, this isn't really anything shippy? I think It's just a reader insert where you'll probably loose a finger or something, I don't know I'm just kind of winging it, please help.)Complete
Eddie Gluskin x Waylon park - How the groom learned to hate
Waylon Park was closer to the exit than ever before - only to run into the most complicated obstacle in the asylum. A conflict with himself. With the strings pulling him back to the heart of the asylum. Waylon wasn't able to identify why this feeling emerged 'now', when he was standing right in front of the gate. He didn't realize that the reason, why he couldn't get himself to leave the asylum appeared the second he opened the cell doors. The art on our book cover belongs to coldsugar.
