Becca's been in love with her best friend Ashton for god knows how long. Twenty long years and her feelings for him are still unknown. She's always perceived that one day it won't be just the two of them anymore, and once they let more people into their lives, the less time they'll spend together alone. It's unrequited love if you will, one-sided. Ashton is severely in love with her best friend, Isabella. But what happens when things start to shift, unbeknownst by our main character herself?
The story follows Becca and a few other POV's as she deals with her heartbreak. She knows for a fact that her childhood best friend and secret love interest wasn't going to reciprocate her feelings anytime soon. It hurts to have a one-sided relationship, and Becca is on the verge of a breakdown. But little does she know, the person who's trying with all his might to help her, might start having feelings for her unknowingly. Sometimes you find love in the person you least expected.
