It had pale white skin and no fur. It had no eyes visible at the moment. Its ears were only small slits on both sides of his head, and it had nothing to breath through besides its mouth. Its paws had very sharp, black claws at the end. It had no name, it only goes by "Monster". When it woke up, it yawned and through its gaping mouth bore sharp fangs, and a tongue that was always larger than its mouth.

It walked on four legs, like a wolf or a fox. It was bigger than a wolf but smaller than a black bear. Its body was in colour similar to hay, except for its belly which was white. Its short fur was marked with black spots as though it had been touched by a man who had dipped his fingers in tar. It had long white whiskers, a long, elegant tail and green eyes with no whites. Truly was it a handsome creature. Bramley realised that it was the beast with the strange game for unsuspecting villagers. The beast met Bramley's gaze and Bramley knew that he had been selected.
