Why are you laughing? How is that funny?

I seemed to be asking that constantly throughout my childhood. I never understood why the adults and older kids found my dreams to be so ridiculous. No one took me seriously, and I couldn't figure out why.

Until I turned eleven, and I went from being a kid to being a girl.
