He walked down the halls, he could feel their disgusted stares, hear their nasty whispers about him and hear their hushed laughs as he walked passed them. But he ignored them as best as he could. He was new, a week ago he had came to America for a few life-as his mother would tell him. Today was his first day, his first day at St. Taylor's High school. He knew why they stared, it was because he was fat. He was use to the teasing and name calling. It hurt him but he always tried to smile as if it didn't affect him. Whenever he asked his mamma about it she would say that it was just his baby fat. He always thought how could he be 17 and have baby fat. He always asked himself that. No one in his family was fat.
