Before reading this story I would like to make sure everyone is in understanding.
This story is in no means a fluff story. Don't get me wrong, you and Zuko will 100% be together by the end of the story, it is just going to take a while. Anyway, onto the actual description.

Y/n was born at the southern air temple. The only catch being, she was born without any type of bending. Despite that, the monks keep her at the air temple as an air acolyte. The air benders treat her very differently seeing as she can't do the things they can. At age  9, she meets her life long friend Aang. 

When Aang runs away, Y/n decides it would be best to go after him. She says her goodbyes to the only other person that ever cared about her and she goes on her way. 

Needless to say, it doesn't go as planned. It doesn't seem like that would be a good thing but in the end, she met the love of her life.All Rights Reserved

The war broke out after the Fire Nation attacks. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements can stop them. Fearing for the Avatar, the Fire Nation decided to kill every Airbenders in every Air Nomads which will be where the next Avatar born after the death of Avatar Roku. A boy, named Aang leave the temple after he learnt that he was the new Avatar, therefore only he survived the attack. But what if... there's another survivor? And not just ANY survivor, but his twin little sister? How long will it take until they found each other. How did Y/N survived and how did she remain the same even after 100 years of disappearance? This story takes place after the war has settled. Aang and Katara finally together, Zuko the firelord, Sokka being,...well Sokka, Toph happy and never to return home, and the nations were finally at peace. When team Avatar decides to return to the southern water tribe to visit Sokka and Katara's family, they end up bringing Zuko along, giving him a well deserved break of running the fire nation. However, feelings start to make themselves known. Feelings that Aang doesn't like, little does he know he ends up pushing Katara into the arms of the edgy firebender, which was the last thing he was trying to do. Will this new romantic relationship tear team Avatar apart? Will it make them stronger? Will Katara's new found heated relationship be accepted by her tribe? Can the group move past it, and continue on? Will Aang ever get over Katara and find someone new? Knowing it's never easy ridding the feeling of that first love. And one of the most importance will Zuko find his mother? On a different note Azula, the sister of the new firelord, has been in prison for quite some time, there is obviously no way of her being released on good behavior. She plans to escape and find Tai Lee and Mai and "ask" them once again to join her side and take her revenge on her brother Zuko, Katara, their friends, and the Avatar. And plans to overthrow and take over the fire nation, feeling that her father apparently wasn't strong enough to hold his place.

Y/N was an air bender, she was tasked with watching over the avatar as a punishment for something that she had done; something that the air nomads frowned upon her for. When she discovered what had become of her people, she was furious- but not at the Fire Nation, she was furious at Aang, because Aang was supposed to protect them, and he didn't. But was it Aang that she was really angry at?

Book 1 or the Trilogy. This fanfic is set in the middle of the 100 year war, NONE OF THE CHARACTERS HAVE MET EACHOTHER. Sokka (15 years old) and Katara (14 years old) are brother and sister who both attend the Omashu Boarding school. &nbsp;Sokka's girlfriend is Suki, who is a Kyoshi Warrior who stays on&nbsp;Kyoshi Island. She is 15 years old. Zuko (16 years old) and Mai (16 years old) are girlfriend and boyfriend, Ty Lee and Azula (both 15) are best friends and Azula is Zuko's brother, Zuko and Azula's dad is Fire Lord Ozai. They also go the the Omashu Boarding School but are feared as are the rest of the firebenders. Aang (14 years old) is the Avatar and has mastered Air and Water but still has to master fire and has done a little work in earth bending, without anyone finding out who he really is. Sophia (14 years old) is 'The Legend' which is the partner to the Avatar, she can learn all the elements and contact the spirit world, she has mastered&nbsp;Fire and Air&nbsp;and has started earth but still needs to do Water. In this fanfic, they are going to a boarding school in Omashu to learn bending. The world has been Avatarless for 100 years, but what they don't know is that they are going to school with him. Avatar Aang was found in the Avatar State by a WaterBender in the Northern Tribe, Princess Yue. His partner Legend Sophia was found in the Legend State just off the coast of the Northern Air Temple.
