This is Amber's story. Amber is a romantic young teenage girl who has friends with countless struggles in their lives. She does not struggle with these things, however, something is off with her. She doesn't understand why or how, but she is connected to them. She knows what they are thinking. She knows where they are. She knows what they feel.

When they self-harm, she feels pain worse than the self-harmer does.

When they cry themselves to sleep, she wakes up with red, puffy eyes.

Amber bears the burden of  suffering through whatever outcome of her friends' struggles.

And she needs help.
