Seventeen-year-old Alexandra Crawford's life takes a whole new turn when she's thrown out of her aunt's house one night. Powers are revealed and she's taken to an institution that houses supernatural creatures which were believed to be myths.

Also, lightning boy; Lloyd who needs to go for anger management along with getting his ego tamped down, and finally; Jace, an infuriating demon, who irritates and sends her heart racing at the same time. Fate has it that she has to solve the mystery surrounding the case of the missing students before she losses her home and the ones she now calls family.
Hearts are broken, secrets are revealed and betrayal is as bitter as ever. For sure, Alexandra is in for a roller coaster ride.
