"What if you risk your life and die?" He asks.
"What if I rish my life and succeed?" I ask back. He narrows his eyes at me before sighing.
"You are going I like it or not," he says more like a statement than a question.
I nod. "That's right," I smile, "I have too. I can't live here knowing that Erudite is trying its best to control people under a simulation."
"You don't have to prove your bravery, Blaze."
"It's not about bravery," I pause to look at him, "It's about doing what I need to do to win."

Blaze Parks is a sixteen-year-old Erudite girl, who takes her aptitude test and is as scare as any girl or boy would be about deciding her destiny. She is smart, curious, brave and centered. When she finally makes her decision, she finds herself in tough ground. Her life changes. For good and for bad. She needs to fight against her own blood. That simple act can change the whole world.
