"What if you risk your life and die?" He asks.
"What if I rish my life and succeed?" I ask back. He narrows his eyes at me before sighing.
"You are going I like it or not," he says more like a statement than a question.
I nod. "That's right," I smile, "I have too. I can't live here knowing that Erudite is trying its best to control people under a simulation."
"You don't have to prove your bravery, Blaze."
"It's not about bravery," I pause to look at him, "It's about doing what I need to do to win."

Blaze Parks is a sixteen-year-old Erudite girl, who takes her aptitude test and is as scare as any girl or boy would be about deciding her destiny. She is smart, curious, brave and centered. When she finally makes her decision, she finds herself in tough ground. Her life changes. For good and for bad. She needs to fight against her own blood. That simple act can change the whole world.

Chasm
"There is a chasm between us, a gaping schism that only seems to widen as hard as we try to close the distance. Someday, our combined efforts to reach each other again will lead us both into the abyss." After an overthrow of the unwanted factionless government, the war in Chicago is over. To maintain stability, the faction leaders decide to return to the faction system. Because of this, the sixteen-year-olds that chose that year are sent back to their former factions for nine months. Tris falls into a state of depression after the war and her impromptu breakup that occurred at the end of it, and returning back to Abnegation--to the same house as her traitor brother--doesn't help. Tobias remains in Dauntless, but while he isn't exactly despondent, he does feel out of place. He doesn't fit in and cannot go on with normal life after everything that happened. Then, Choosing Day arrives. And history definitely does not repeat itself when Tris goes through the initiation process with her old friends and enemies, her ex-boyfriend, and the new sixteen-year-olds, while citizens of Chicago are mysteriously dying. And it doesn't remain their only challenge: Soon they find out there's something going on between Dauntless and Erudite leaderships, something terrible that threatens not only them, but their friends and family, too, as well as the whole society they live in... *Completed* This story picks up right after chapter twenty-six of 'Divergent' and I used the setting and characters from the book, but I made some changes in timeline and initiation process to be able to tell it the way I imagine it. Rated Mature for sexual content (but don't expect them to go straight at it in the first chapters... ;-)).
