A girl wakes to find herself trapped in a ruined city, chased through the maze-like streets by a horned monster. Her memories are vague; she recalls nothing of her living life, only the vaguest sense of her final minutes.
Somewhere, further down in the depths of the underworld, a bitter sinner sits in the wreckage of their own design and recalls the lengths they pursued to win over the one they loved.
