Chara, a normal girl from New Mexico, gets thrown into the world of magic on her seventeenth birthday. She finds out she is quite powerful and with that, she begins to wonder who around her she can trust. She journeys to many places before attending the school for supernatural beings called Scholam Enim Donatur; The School for the Gifted. While there, she must hide who she really is while trying to figure out her powers. There is a war on its way and Chara must figure out which side is the right one. The obvious choice isn't always the correct one. 

There is a prophecy about Chara, everyone in the supernatural world has heard of it, but they don't know who it is speaking about. Chara must think wisely about her choices or else she may end up helping the wrong side.

The Prophecy states:

"One day there will be a child born of two greats. This child will be either our saviour or our doom and face many challenges along their journey. The decisions made during these challenges can and will be greatly influenced by the ones around them. The child must not fall victim to trusting others, only themselves."
