14 years with peace and quiet; 14 years with no major disturbances; 14 years of Petra being dead, Pearl grieving and the agents of the Squidbeak Splatoon dealing with minor issues. Having not aged while in the project he is released just short of the end of the war with both sides in a stalemate he turns the tables winning and,becoming a hero in the eye's of his people. He would hope to live a normal life but that would never happen as a disaster so severe would strike humanity so he did what was best for everyone else rather than him.
